Slava Levin

Slava Levin is CEO and Co-founder of Ethnic Channels Group Limited, the world's largest distributor and broadcaster of international television services. Under Slava's leadership, Ethnic Channels Group currently broadcasts and distributes 100+ services across North America. Slava was instrumental in obtaining nearly 60 CRTC broadcast licenses for Ethnic Channels Group. Slava is also founder of NexTV, one of the first direct to consumer Internet television services in Canada, and Nextologies, a broadcast video distribution company.
Slava is an experienced media executive with an extensive background in broadcast media start-up, acquisitions, marketing, sales, distribution and operations. Slava has also served as Chief Operating Officer with NTV America, a major European television network in the United States; President of Operations for TVR Networks (USA); as well as President and Co-founder of International Satellite Antenna Services Ltd. Slava's illustrious career in media also includes the position of Co-founder and President of Levin Media Inc.
Slava is also co-founding member and current Board Member of Ethnic Broadcaster of America (EBA). EBA is a non-profit association created to promote the interests of international programmers serving the North American market. He is also a founding member of the Independent Broadcasting Group (IBG), the leading advocacy group in Canada for independent broadcasters. Slava continues to be a visionary, providing a wide range of media and technology services that meet the diverse needs of Canada's ethnic population.
